Here is an overview of the issue:
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------
            Key: CAY-337
Summary: Link multiple cayenne model into one master cayenne model
           Type: New Feature

         Status: Assigned
       Priority: Major

        Project: Cayenne
     Components:
                 Cayenne Core Library
                 CayenneModeler GUI

       Assignee: Andrus Adamchik
       Reporter: John Martyniak

        Created: Mon, 27 Jun 2005 9:55 AM
        Updated: Mon, 27 Jun 2005 9:55 AM

    Description:
The idea here would be the ability to create a frameworks concept. So that I could create multiple cayenne.xml files, and then use them in one application, and build relationships between them.

In a simple example, let's say that I have one framework that is for user data, and I have one framework that is Audting. I would like to use these through multiple applications, and I would only like to maintain them in one place.

I would also like to be able to associate columns between models.
