I have just started using Eclipse M5 with the patch discussed recently on this list.
The good news. It no longer hangs like M3 did: CPU to the max, gradually eating up all memory.
The bad news. It often hangs on attempts to complete method names from imported classes: 40% of CPU, no screen refresh.
The odd feature. M5 dumps all output to the same console view. That view opens when there is new output. Sound good? The problem is that the WOLips ant build produces some output when building on the fly. Thus I have the console opening each time I save a file.
