I recall seeing something about adding documentation for installing/updating
WOLips from eclipse Software Updates. Here
http://spindle.sourceforge.net/install/index.html is a possible starting
point/template to use for WOLips. It is clear and easy to follow.
I also noticed that Spindle's (http://spindle.sourceforge.net/) description
indicates it does for Tapestry
(http://jakarta.apache.org/proposals/tapestry/ a WO like framework) some of
the things what WOBuilder does for WO. This may be a starting point for
adding WOBuilder functionality to WOLips or some other WOLips related
plugin. Just a taught.
Here is a description of what Spindle does.
Spindle provides editors and tools that make it easier to work with Tapestry
specification files. The power of Tapestry is that it is component based,
and declarations/references of/to components are stored as XML in various
files.
Spindle editors allow one to manipulate aspects of Tapestry specs in a GUI
and then write them out as xml. Spindle gobbles up all the specs in a
project and offers wizards and lookup dialogs. So, for example, if you want
to add a component to a page, you click add and choose from a list of the
components that exist in the project.
Also, when you configure the parameters of a component, Spindle knows about
those parameters and so you can choose from a list rather than you needing
to manually inspect the parameter definitions. There are many other features
that make working with lots of components and pages easier.
