    You are just sooo right! :) I now uchecked "Perform build
    automatically on..." and now I can select build from the project-menu.

    But... I do want to automatically buld javafiles I modify AND be able
    to build the project from the project menu (both milk and honey :)

    But as you say... this seems like a bug in eclipse.
