    Here's an example. Suppose you have a DBA who's in charge of your database.
    You want to put him in charge of maintaining the data model, too. But he
    uses Linux. So you can't just have him install WO. Nor does he want all
    the WO stuff anyway--he just wants the modeler. Enter Cayenne.
