Have you been in the "Preferences" window recently? It used to be that
sometimes after clicking on certain things in the "preferences" window,
the window would resize and reposition itself. Sometimes the reposition
would take it of the screen. Since the prefs window is modal, the rest
of the app becomes unresponsive. The remedy was force quitting Eclipse.
