So with the current change, you can either flatten or not flatten
based on how you form your wsresources includes. For instance:
**/*.gif
will flatten all gifs
**/images/**/*.gif
will flatten all gifs in the images folder
**/images/
will NOT flatten the images folder and bring over everything in it
