If apple is really giving away a free deployment license now, why is
everyone complaining? This product used to cost 50K a few years ago.
As far as I can tell members that subscribe to this list must believe in
the product or they still wouldn't be developing in it now. Next year
when apple comes out with the intel boxes buy one, then you can run a
multi boot machine (osx, window, and linux) and have the best of all
worlds. Until then keep writing you code in eclipse and use the Windows
    tools and deploy 5.2.4 apps.

For all of the people that want to develop on Linux, too bad Apple
didn't open source WebObjects; therefore you need to buy you a mac and
you can deploy on Linux. If you don't like that statement, then use
eclipse, Tapestry, and cayenne to do the development that you need to
do. Apple is giving away powerful development tools, that you normally
have to pay a bunch for in the Microsoft world. The cost for admission
into the webobjects world is not that great any more.

    Just my .02
