I am running WOLips 2.0.0.86 but I have written my own build.xml so
that I can package properly the frameworks in jars (like Apple does).
I also have a problem with the way WOLips manages preferences by
projects as out of the box. When you have many frameworks and
applications the properties by project is just not practical to
ensure consistency.
These are my three request for WOLips:
1- being able to manage preferences as includes and excludes (i.e.
the content of woproject) on a per project group level. To be
complete I would like to be able to have 2 or 3 of those in the same
workspace as I may be working on multiple project group at once.
2- An option to jar framework at the end of the build like the jar in
the "/Library/WebObjects/lib"
3- An option to copy all the dependencies jar in the
"myApplication.woa/Content/Extensions/" This is very usefull when you
do a product deployment and you do not want to be dependent on
whatever is installed on the target machine. Any jar in that
directory is loaded before the system jar and therefore you can be
completely independent.
These are the main reason the out the box build.xml does not work for
me.
Thanks
Pierre
