    I tried it from within the jar again yesterday. Still no joy. Then I
    used the folder that is in the build directory, and it works. My entire
    eclipse installation is on my desktop, and all my projects are in my
    Documents directory, so it should not be a permissions issue.

    Try this again with 129 ... Ulrich did some work on making Velocity not
    write logs to files that MIGHT have been the cause of these problems.
