If you had WO 5.2 installed, I suggest making sure everything is
destroyed before installing 5.3. Also, one problem that many people
have had is that the old EOModeler (and probably WOBuilder too) is
still in the directory after upgrade to 5.3. Make sure the apps
you're running are in Developer/Applications/WebObjects
