You were correct. I finally realized I had a bunch of documents open
in my workspace (including some of the model files). I closed them
all and then was able to start Entity Modeler.

(Btw, I ran it in 1.5 and found that the attempted class was
org.eclipse.ui.internal.ErrorEditorPart. I'm guessing that's not very
helpful.)
