I'm doing a WOLips upgrade for the first time, and I'm wondering if
I'm doing this right.
I went to Help -> Software Update -> Find and Install, and chose the
"Search for updates of the currently installed features" option. It
didn't give me a chance to choose which features, it immediately
started looking for updates. It asked me a number of times to choose
a mirror site - looks like for each package it tried to update. I
put the job in the background but it still stopped to ask me for each
one.
It then bombed out with a few 404 errors from http://
download.eclipse.org, and then went on to update WOLips to version 3099.
Is there some way to update only WOLips, and if not, some way to tell
Eclipse to use the download site it used last time and not keep
asking? I'm guessing the 404 errors represent a real problem that
have to be fixed on eclipse.org, not something I can work around.
thanks,
janine
