    So is the actual problem that automatic workspace refresh is kicking
    in before all the eclipse metadata files are actually written, so it
    doesn't realize it's a Java project yet? If we force a .refresh on
    the project, is that enough, or is it too late for that? Should be
    close and reopen new projects automatically as part of the wizard?
    This definitely trips up new people ...
