When using EOModeler if you go into the "SQL" tab of a fetch spec it will display the generated SQL for the current qualifier based query (only disabled). If you click "Use Raw SQL Expression" if will let you use this generated query string as a starting point for your raw SQL expression.

This would be an extremely helpful feature for Entity Modeler to replicate.
