Patternsets: Why have ' **/*.woa/** ' instead of ' **/*.woa/ ' ?

    According to the book of Ant, the above should not be needed, as foo/
    is shorthand for foo/**

    And yet, I see the above in Wolips supplied patternsets.

    Is there a bug or some reason the patternsets don't use the shorthand?

    Curious minds want to know.
