The templates do not contain the original Properties that Apple provides in the template, why is that?

The Properties file in Resources includes a wealth of settings, that give you a solid starting point to tweak the app.
But the standard settings of the XCode template are not included. Are these supposed to be launch arguments that have no place in the Resources/Properties file?
