Hello Peter;

I have recently written a small ant task (pure java) to do a simple
EO generation (no templates etc...) if you want to try that, you can
find out about that here;

See "0.9.2 EO Generator Task". It might be less trouble although it
doesn't do as flexible a job as the EOGen or EOGenerator tools.
