Hello,
because the new JavaEOGenerator has some shortcomings, I decided
yesterday to fix a few issues at source level.
Most frustrating for us was limitation to a single EOModel - and even
worse - limitation to at most one reference model. If you have a bunch
of models with mutually relationships you probably need all of them in
a EOModelGroup.
With some minor changes JavaEOGenerator now is running smooth against
known EOGenerator command line usage with multiple occurrences of "-
model" or "-refmodel".
Feel free to make use of it: http://www.bauche-hamburg.de/webobjects/JavaEOGenerator.zip
(or for testing the compiled package http://www.bauche-hamburg.de/webobjects/JJavaEOGenerator.woa.zip)
What I would like to see in near future is WOLips providing absolute
paths when calling generators executable or - as an alternative -
providing a hint via command line about the projects location in the
users file system, which in turn could be used by JavaEOGenerator to
fix current issues with file paths. When this is done, JavaEOGenerator
will become a nice companion to Eclipse/WOLips.
Cheers
Thomas
