WODisplayGroup displayGroup is configured but not declared in class - but it is!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: WOL-828
URL: http://issues.objectstyle.org/jira/browse/WOL-828
Project: WOProject/WOLips
Issue Type: Bug
Affects Versions: WOLips stable 3.3.4906 for Eclipse 3.3.2
Reporter: Anders Peterson
I get the error message "WODisplayGroup displayGroup is configured but not declared in class" because my getDisplayGroup() method is protected. I'd like to keep it that way and I'd like to get rid of the error.
Generally I prefer errors to indicate that the project does not compile and cannot run. There should be a general setting/preference to indicate whether binding validation problems should be reported/displayed as errors or warnings (or not at all). I prefer them to always just be warnings.
Currently you can define some specified problems to be errors or warning, but not all and not this particular problem. It'll be very difficult for the WOLips developers to imagine all possible cases that will/may/wont work.
Level 1: Turn binding validation on/off globally or per project
Level 2: Indicate if some problems could be reported as errors; if not they will all be warnings
Level 3: For each of the validations that potentially could be reported as errors I should be able to configure if I want them as errors or warnings.
