    If the Foo.html in my component begins with plain text followed by HTML and then invoke the Format command in the component editor (Command+Shift+F) then the text disappears. Try using the following as a test:

    Blah blah blah blah.
    <br>

    Then format the html using Command+Shift+F and you'll notice that the text disappears and the <br> is turned into <br />.
    So the bug here is that the text disappeared. :-)
