Sorry to hear that. Hopefully this 21st century OS X technology can be
effective in making your attendance a "virtual reality".

BTW, I hear OS X Snow Leopard has a Star Trek type "beam me up"
feature named "iBeam" that will be announced in the "Just one more
thing..." section of Phill Schiller's keynote. They are going to use
it to "beam" Steve Jobs right onto the stage from his home. It is a
progression of the whole iChat 3D features. The technology was
supported in part by the new 3D technology developed by Pixar in the
"Up" movie. It is only in beta at the moment and works in the San
Francisco area only using the Google broadband wireless network there,
so too risky for us to try and beam you over from Richmond, VA even if
we could get our hands on that yet-to-be-officially-announced "iBeam"
feature. Apparently, beaming over very long distances leaves essential
body parts behind such as the brain when used outside of the Google
    broadband wireless network. ;-)

I look forward to the presentation, and hopefully I will get a chance
to see you present in person next year.

    Regards, Kieran
