    I disagree.

    If the directory doesn't exist, then the property shouldn't assume it does. That's just asking for trouble. If the validation fails, why not just clear out the value, or manually create the directory indicated.

    I would however like the shortcut ~/Library/Framework to work instead of it needing to be hardcoded with a username.
