    Thanks, Xavier

Just wondering, to you relayout the model at every import into OmniGraffle again?

I will do an official request for the diagram view :-)

    Regards, Robert

But obviously, I can't do that after each model change and reimport into OmniGraffle. May be I just didn't find where I can tell OmniGraffle to "store" the last layout and use that layout for the next import. The situation would be less of a problem with 10 or 20 entities, but impossible with the current 110 entities our biggest model consists of.

    >> What upsets me somewhat is that on this list I got the impression that all developers think that the diagram view of the old EOModeler is (was) not of any use and therefor no attempt is made to make it available in the new Entity Modeler. But we just really need that view for our work. Firstly because for certain work it's much easier to work with it (that seems to be individual, though), secondly to be able to create a PDF of the model and be able to print it out. And lastly, the diagram view has to be in the same tool, it's not at all convenient to export from Entity Modeler and import into OmniGraffle.
    >>
    >> As everyone on this list seems to work in another fashion, to check I talked to all of my developer colleagues to ask if they have and need a diagram view and the answer was they have it in their tool and need that view as well for modeling. Also all the tools I looked at like SQL Power Architect, Aqua Data Studio, MySQL Workbench, ... have such a view.
