Restore the ability to select a container tag and all of its enclosed contents

If there was any way that the container tag selection feature could be brought back even with a modifier key?. Here are some details:
1) First, to show that it is a behavior that is is suitable to WOComponentEditor, which is not a normal text editor, a similar behavior exists in Eclipse's java editor, when I double click on the right side of a left curly brace, I get the entire contents between the two curly braces selected, like this:

2) I fired up old eclipse 3.5 to check the exact old behavior, which I found to be really useful and productive. If you triple-clicked anywhere in the area indicated by the black box, the opening tag, contents and closing tag were all selected as shown in next pic. Thus you had an instant visual without having to search with your eyes or move to the outline view and look for the tag just to click on it so that the selection could be shown in html.

3) In Eclipse 3.6, if I triple-click within the same opening tag, I get the text editor line selected, as shown here.

If the wolips 3.5 container tag selection behavior could be brought back, even option-key + double-click would be appreciated.
