The chars were displayed correctly in BBEdit. But I see that if I change the value in the EOGenerator editor, the chars are displayed correctly. BUT if I close the editor and open it back, the chars are wrong :-(
So I tried to fix it by deleting the .eogen, create a new one, and retype the variable's value. No luck, same problem.
