Thanks for the insight! I guess I need to try it one day.
Ahmed, I have similar concerns about the complexity we'd inherit if
we go NetBeans all the way.
BTW, there is one thing I am missing in vanilla Swing that often
prompts me to look for alternatives (I know I can write it from
scratch, but I'd rather not) - a frame with docking resizable views
that can be dragged around, kind of like Eclipse or NetBeans main
frame. Are there any open source Swing implementations under Apache
or BSD license?
