I try to log all of the bugs and fixes into the SWT bugzilla. I
submit non-intrusive enhancements (like auto-hiding scrollbars on the
Mac) to the SWT team as well. Unfortunately, the look-and-feel
changes require some dramatic changes to controls that are in the
"common" set (read: cross platform) and SWT common controls are
currently not effectively themeable. So while I'm perfectly happy to
contribute my changes (and I have sent several of the SWT team links
to the blog/screenshots), I don't have much hope of seeing this look
roll back into the core any time soon. The other issue is that the
SWT team sees the curvy blue tabs as part of the Eclipse cross-
platform branding and are not very interested in changing that look (I
suspect it has to go through a sort of political design process). To
my eye, the stock look is terribly out of place on the Mac, though.
