Stability is not something I have a problem with as much as there are
just some missing features or bugs (meaning they're consistently not
working as opposed to stability, which I associate with randomness).
1) Code completion not working -- This I never see ... Where
specifically are seeing this?
2) I think errors don't show on mouseovers in wods, but I just tested
Java and I don't have tis problem.
3) How so specifically? The only issues I have with stock deployment
builds (run as=>ant build on build.xml) = the startup script isn't
+rx by default, and i never seem to get the flattening right on my WS
Resources and Resources.
4/5) There are definitely so odd missing things in the Java editor
inside of the Component Editor. Weird things like auto-indent
doesn't work right and cmd-o doesn't work.
An important thing to note is that you don't have to use component
editor if you don't want. You can go in and remove the association
of .java/.wod and .html files from Component Editor and change them
back to the standalone editors. You'll find that all the editors
work much better on their own. HOWEVER, it's a lot less convenient.
With all the oddities, I do find that I stick with Component Editor
just for the convenience.
I just did a brand new fresh install of Eclipse 3.1.1 and the wolips-
latest-all.tar.gz untar'd on top of it to test these.
