Component Editor html validation -- html doctype setting?

    Hi there,

    is there already a feature request for how html is validated? Our
    graphic designer is utilising html 4.01 strict and thus the following
    is being highlighted as an error because it's not xhtml.

    <colgroup><col><col><col width="184"></colgroup>

    Naturally components don't declare an html doctype. It'd make sense,
    if anything, being able to set it per project. Should I lodge a task
    or is this already in the pipeline?
